We are privileged to have Helena Attlee and Jenny Condie to host this special tour, both authorities on Italian gardens and contributors to COUNTRY LIFE

The tour begins gliding across the Lagoon in a private boat from the airport to the island of Giudecca and the exclusive five-star Bauer Palladio Hotel. This 16th century palace, constructed by the famous Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, is a jewel of rare beauty. The following day we visit two gardens on the Giudecca and enjoy an aperitif in another that overlooks the Grand Canal. The next day sees us enjoying lunch on a private boat as it navigates the Brenta Canal. For the rest of the tour we are based at the five-star Hotel Due Torri in Verona. From this base we visit a fascinating variety of gardens and enjoy traditional dishes in local restaurants and as guests at a private villa. Jenny Condie, and Helena Attlee will introduce the rich history of the region through its diverse and intriguing gardens.
